Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.

What information do we collect and how do we collect it?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, email us directly, respond to a survey or fill out a form. We also collect information when you voluntarily comment on our blog posts, provide feedback and participate in surveys. Website usage information is collected using cookies.

Where possible, before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.

Third Party Tracking Tools

We also use third party tracking tools to improve the performance and features of our Website. These third party tracking tools are designed to collect only Non-Personal Information about your use of our Website. However, you understand that such tools are created and managed by parties outside our control. As such, we are not responsible for what information is actually captured by such third parties or how such third parties use and protect that information.

We use Remarketing with Google Analytics to advertise on third party sites to you after you visited our Site. We and our third party vendors, like Google, use cookies to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your past visits to our Site.

You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page. Google also recommends installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for your browser. Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provides visitors with the ability to prevent their data from being collected and used by Google Analytics.

Automatic Information

We automatically receive information from your web browser or mobile device. This information includes the name of the website from which you entered our Website, if any, as well as the name of the website to which you’re headed when you leave our website. This information also includes the IP address of your computer/proxy server that you use to access the Internet, your Internet Website provider name, web browser type, type of mobile device, and computer operating system. We use all of this information to analyze trends among our Users to help improve our Website.

Accessing, Managing and Transferring Data We Have For You

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.

You can access and download a complete record of any data we have on you, by sending a request to the following link:

Once you submit the request, you will receive two (2) emails from us:

  • One with access to all and any comments you might have left on our blog posts or other places on our website. You will be able to manage, delete or anonymize all of your comments through the link contained in this email.
  • And a second email with all data we keep for you and the reasons for keeping it.

Once you receive the data, you are able to forward and transfer it to another entity of your choice.

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete your account and all the data we keep for you, when you login to your User Account and go to the “My Details” menu. From there go to “My Profile”, and you will see the option to completely Delete your account.

Please note that when doing so, you will lose access to your account, even if you have pre-paid for it.

Cancelling your membership

You can cancel your membership and this will also cancel your payments, and deactivate your account after the pre-paid period has ended. To cancel your membership, login to your User Account, go to the “My details” menu, and choose the “Cancel my membership” option.

How long will we store your data?

If Successful Start does not provide paid services to you, we will keep your data until it’s purpose is completed, or you request us to delete it. If Successful Start provides any paid for services to you, your payment information will be kept in PayPal, which is our payment vendor, according to their Privacy Policy.

We will not keep any records of your payment information on our side, unless you request a tax invoice. In such case, we are required under Bulgarian tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 5 years after which time it will be destroyed.

Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

Emails

If you have subscribed to our newsletter any of our paid services, you might receive emails from us with updates and information about products and services of ours, as well as free resources and initiatives we organize. If you have consented to receive such emails, you may opt out at a later date. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing or informational purposes. You can do that by unsubscribing through the link at the bottom of every email. If you unsubscribe, we will delete you from our database and we will never send you emails, unless you subscribe and give your consent again.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

  • To personalize your experience (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs)
  • To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, important service changes, new features, updates, related product or service information, promotional activities, etc.

Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

Data Aggregation

We retain the right to collect and use any Non Personal Information collected from your use of our Website and aggregate such data for internal analytics that improve our Website and Service. At no time is your Personally Identifiable Information included in such data aggregations.

How do we protect your information?

We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

We guarantee that we strictly apply all industry standard security measures to protect your personal information. Such measures include without limitation: data encryption, password protected access to your personal information, limited access to the sensitive data, encrypted transfer of sensitive data submitted by you through our order forms, login forms etc.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

In case there is a data breach, we will inform you via email, on the Footer space at the successful-start.com website, as well as on this page within 72 hours. We will include the details, extent and measures taken about the security breach, as well as any recommended actions on your side. We will keep the messages active until the breach is fully neutralized and we make sure your data is secure.

Protecting Your Child’s Privacy

Our Website is not designed for use by anyone under the age of 18 (“Child”), though we realize we may have a Child attempt to make purchases through our Website. We do not verify the age of our Users nor do we have any liability for verifying a User’s age. If you are a Child, please seek the permission of a parent or guardian before using our Website. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your Child is using our Website, please contact us to remove your Child’s account. We reserve the right to ask you for verification of your relationship to the Child before we honor such a request. If we discover that a Child has created an account on our Website, we will immediately delete the account as soon as we discover it, we will not use the information for any purpose, and we will not disclose the information to third parties. Do we use cookies?

Yes, we use cookies, tracking pixels and related technologies on our website.
